Yongjoo talked about his past days under SM Entertainment.

The singer, who placed in the Top 5 of SBS 'The Fan,' flaunted his handsome visuals in a pictorial with 'International bnt.' In the interview, Yongjoo opened up about his tough road to debut. 

After training for 6-7 years, Yongjoo finally saw a way to debut when he won on a China-Korea joint audition program. However, the debut fell apart due to issues between the two nations. Regarding the debut cancelation, Yongjoo said, "It felt like my dream broke apart." 

Yongjoo is also well known as a former SM Rookies member. Yongjoo shared EXO was his direct sunbae and the members of Red Velvet trained during the same period as him. He said, "I entered the agency right before EXO sunbaenims made their debut, so I didn't get to train with them but we did spend a lot of time together. At the time, I practiced with NCT."
