On March 19, representatives from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that traces of illegal drugs were found in Chinese club merchandiser (MD) 'A's hair follicles. 

'A', also known as 'Anna', previously denied the allegations that she used illegal drugs while working as a club MD at 'Burning Sun'. 'A' was formerly charged with illegal drug usage in September of 2018, receiving deportation orders from the court; however, 'A' violated the court's orders and worked as a club MD at 'Burning Sun' until January of this year. 

Police told media outlets, "Traces of ecstasy and ketamine were found in in 'A's hair follicles." Afterward, 'A' admitted, "The Chinese customers brought the drugs into 'Burning Sun'," adding on that the drugs were not distributed by 'Burning Sun' to its VIP customers.
