Jessica opened up about her solo career, younger sister, and more in 'The Star.'

The fashion pictorial with Jessica was completed with the theme 'Day and Night.' In the interview following the shoot, Jessica shared about leaving Girls' Generation and going solo. She said, "It's always difficult to start something new, but fortunately, I met great people and many helped me out so I was able to do well despite difficulties."

She also expressed great affection for her sister Krystal. Jessica said, "We are always an encouragement for each other. We can't stop talking when we're together. We text each other if we can't meet and talk. She's an existence that I cannot be without."
