The staff of KBS2's '1 Night, 2 Days' confirmed that comedian Lee Yong Jin will be joining the show's cast as the first ever intern!

Previously, Lee Yong Jin appeared as a special guest during the '1 Night, 2 Days' cast's Jeonju trip, before appearing again on last week's episode. Lee Yong Jin will be joining the current cast Kim Jun Ho, Cha Tae Hyun, Defconn, Kim Jong Min, Yoon Dong Gu (Yoon Si Yoon), and Jung Joon Young as their intern beginning with the upcoming episode of '1 Night, 2 Days' on December 30. 

Meanwhile, the latest December 23 broadcast of '1 Night, 2 Days' (with an unexpected appearance from Kim Yong Jin) recorded an average viewership rating of 16.3%, the highest the program has seen in the past 10 months.
