Fans of BTS made donations for comfort women victims following Jimin's recent shirt controversy.
According to 'House of Sharing' on November 15, over 130 donations adding up to a total amount of 3.5 million KRW (3,100 USD) were made to the organization since Jimin's shirt issue came to surface on the 8th.
A rep of 'House of Sharing' stated, "It seems like BTS fans are making donations in support of BTS and the elderly women who suffered from sex slavery during World World II."
Last week, Jimin's liberation shirt with a photo of an atomic bomb became controversial in Japan. In response to the issue, Big Hit Entertainment issued an apology and clarified that it did not intend to offend atomic bomb victims.
