ABC news anchor Kendis Gibson is under fire for making insulting remarks about BTS.
A recent airing of 'World News Now' covered BTS' attendance at the 'General Assembly of the United Nations' and their inspirational speech for the younger generation.
During the coverage, Kendis Gibson shared a few comments about BTS that many fans found offensive.
During RM's speech, he sarcastically said, "That's so poetic" while fake crying.
When his co-anchor Stephanie Ramos tried to relay BTS' impressive accomplishments, Gibson repeatedly commented, "It's a boy band from Korea." When she said, "They're role models," Gibson shook his head side to side and smirked, and said, "They got choreographed dance moves."

Many are outraged by Gibson's disrespect against BTS by simply brushing off their impressive accomplishments and calling them a "boy band" repeatedly. Fans are leaving many comments of disappointment and anger.
