On October 23, YG Entertainment confirmed to various media outlets that label girl group Black Pink has officially signed on with Interscope Records, an American record label under Universal Music Group (UMG)!

YG stated, "Black Pink recently signed with Interscope Records. YG and Interscope will partner up in order to make Black Pink a global star worldwide." Interscope Records is home to American artists like Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Maroon 5, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, the Black Eyed Peas, and more.
CEO of Interscope Records John Janick also shared, "Black Pink are the newest global superstars. Their music and visuals are vastly different from anything we've seen in the pop industry. I am more than excited about our partnership with YG, as we aim for Black Pink's world domination."
