On September 4, Sori held the solo debut showcase for her single 'Touch'. Prior to her solo debut, Sori participated in JTBC's 'MIXNINE', where she received harsh criticism from Yang Hyun Suk for her old age (29 in Korean age). Netizens were displeased with Yang Hyun Suk's rudeness to Sori. In response, Yang Hyun Suk shared a video of himself and Sori and explained that his harsh words are signs of interest.
At the debut showcase, Sori mentioned 'MIXNINE' and said, "I've gained so much from 'MIXNINE'. I was also able to make the decision to promote solo due to 'MIXNINE'." She then shared a message for YG, saying, "I want to tell him that I can do it too. Watch me."
