iKON's B.I wrote a poem for all the hard-working variety show entertainers out there.
On the September 9th episode of 'Running Man', B.I guested on the show with his fellow YG senior Seungri. When it was time to show off everyone's individual skills, B.I took out a piece of paper with a self-written poem dedicated to the variety show entertainers on the spot:
"'Running Man', a downsized version of our society. Mother says, 'screen time is your monthly wage; take care of your own screen time.' To be on TV, you must say 'no' when everyone else says 'yes'. To be on TV, when everyone else says one thing, you must say ten things. When your left cheek gets slapped, turn the other cheek to get the right one slapped as well; only the latter shows up on TV. To survive on this animal kingdom full of wild beasts, I try to be a fox. I only go after one guy, Lee Kwang Soo."
B.I's funny, sad, and witty poem brought much laughter and applause, as every single entertainer on the spot empathized with his words. The MCs called B.I a "genius poet" who understood variety shows inside and out! Watch the clip above.
