Lee Yeon Hee claimed she didn't have enough skills to be a part of Girls' Generation.
On the August 13 airing of Olive's 'Island Trio 2', Kang Ho Dong, Lee Soo Geun, Wi Ha Joon, and Lee Yeon Hee prepared dinner together. While doing so, Lee Soo Geun started playing the guitar and singing. Lee Yeon Hee was also urged to sing as well. The actress picked "One Late Night In 1994" by Jang Hye Jin and "Late Regret" by BoBo for her songs.
The members complimented Lee Yeon Hee's impressive vocals. Kang Ho Dong said, "The wind stopped blowing after Yeon Hee started singing," and commented, "She would've been the main vocalist if she debuted in Girls' Generation."
To this, Lee Yeon Hee responded, "No, while training with the Girls' Generation members, I realized that I was so insufficient and lacking. I would've only sung one line if I debuted with them."
