Did Cristiano Ronaldo really want to work out with Kim Jong Kook during his visit to Korea?
On the August 19 broadcast of 'My Ugly Duckling', the MCs and mother panelists watched Kim Jong Kook, HaHa, and Yang Se Chan looking glum in Kim Jong Kook's living room. The living room was decorated with all kinds of welcoming signs for soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, as it turned out that Ronaldo was supposed to visit Korean fans for a fan meeting back in July.
According to Kim Jong Kook, the soccer star was scheduled for a brief, very secretive filming with 'My Ugly Duckling', where Kim Jong Kook invited Ronaldo for a workout session; however, due to Ronaldo's recent move to Juventus F.C. from Real Madrid, it seems the soccer star's Korean visit was cancelled and moved to a later date.
Kim Jong Kook, sitting in his Ronaldo-decked living room, couldn't hide his disappointment as he said, "I honestly already told a few people that Ronaldo was coming to my house." Yang Se Chan added, "I emptied my schedules for a month so I could see Ronaldo", and HaHa said, "Ronaldo is one of the only soccer players I know."
