Wanna One's Hwang Min Hyun has won a language-proficiency fan vote!

On portal site dcinside, a fan started a poll titled, 'If you could take the foreign language ability of any non-foreign idol, who would it be?' The fan vote essentially asked fans which idol they believe has the best foreign language ability. The vote started on July 15 and ended on July 21.
The vote closed with Hwang Min Hyun on top. He captured 31.7% votes with 2,146 votes. Hwang Min Hyun is well-known for his incredible Japanese skills. Min Hyun achieved fluency in Japanese with intense study, and fans point out he could be on Japanese variety shows and dramas with ease.
BTS's RM came in second place with 23.3% votes with 1,574 votes. RM revealed that he gradually learned English by watching one of his favorite American sit-coms, 'Friends', over and over again.
An honorable mention is comedian Kim Young-Chul, who has demonstrated his English-speaking skills by incorporating them into his signature dry-humor jokes.
