Even North Korea is crazy about BTS, according to BJ (Broadcast Jockey) Han Song Yi.
On July 12, the North Korean defector BJ guested on MBC FM4U's 'Ji Suk Jin's 2 O'Clock Date'.
During the radio broadcast, Han Song Yi talked about BTS' popularity in North Korea, and said, "I know a broker unnie in China and she said BTS is really popular in North Korea." She added, "They call them Bangtan Bag. It's like a code used to refer to BTS." She explained, "I think an inspection team has been created because of the Hallyu wave. So people use codes to talk (about them)."

DJ Ji Suk Jin commented, "Red Velvet performed in North Korea." Han Song Yi replied, "Yeah, they are famous", however, "North Koreans don't know what red flavor means, so I said it taste like strawberry jam."
