Victims of Jo Min Ki's sexual harassment were revealed to be receiving threats.
A member of Cheongju University's 'Alumni Association to Oppose Sexual Assault' came to speak at the Women's Human Rights Institute of Korea's 'After Forum' and said, "After it was reported that Jo Min Ki died, the victims have become targets for unfiltered criticism and hate. They are receiving messages such as 'Careful when you walk at night', or 'I'll kill you'."
She revealed, "We asked Cheongju University to launch a full investigation, but they aren't doing anything, citing the psychological stability of the students and professors, and internal reasons."
When word of the developments spread online, many netizens expressed anger toward not only Jo Min Ki, but also to the malicious threateners, as well as the school for their lack of action.
