Sunny revealed why Girls' Generation are thankful the Wonder Girls promoted in the United States first.
On the May 8th installment of 'Video Star', former Wonder Girls member Yenny featured as a guest, meeting brand new panel host Sunny. MC Park Na Rae pointed out, "What's amazing about today is that both Girls' Generation and Wonder Girls are in the same place."
Yenny said, "Girls' Generation and Wonder Girls debuted in the same year. In 2007, 'Tell Me' did well, and in 2009, we went to America. That's when Girls' Generation's 'Gee' exploded. When I meet the Girls' Generation members now, I feel so happy to see them because we both promoted during that time."
Park So Hyun then joked, "Girls' Generation did well after Wonder Girls left to the United States," and Sunny responded, "That's why I'm grateful."
