MBC's 'Point of Omniscient Interference' is taking a break due to the controversial use of Sewol Ferry news footage on the show.
On May 10, MBC announced, "An investigation committee has been created and the investigation has started. As a result, MBC variety show 'Point of Omniscient Interference' will not be airing for two weeks on May 12 and May 17."
The variety show came under fire for using Sewol Ferry news footage for a comical depiction of Lee Young Ja eating fishcakes. The producers and the head of MBC apologized, however, the criticism is ongoing. Lee Young Ja also announced that she will not be attending recording due to shock.
