In a recent interview with News1, the final boy group from 'The Unit' talked about their true feelings regarding their re-debut. Regarding the comparison with Wanna One, the members expressed that such comparisons are "meaningless."
Member Jun stated, "We hear those kinds of opinions a lot, but I don't think we should feel anxious just because 'The Unit' wasn't as successful." Member Euijin also shared, "Whether we receive spotlight or not, the amount of effort we will make is the same. The nine of us were also chosen by the nation's public. Even if one person could recognize us and love us, we would be ever-so grateful. We will try our best to receive the same amount of love that Wanna One had received."
On top of their thoughts on Wanna One, the boys of UNB shared their personal goals they would like to reach as a group. Hansol said, "I want our song to be within the top 10 on the digital charts, and to receive a #1 on a music show." Member Daewon also confessed that he would like to invite his parent to a concert of UNB, performed just by the nine members.
Furthermore, UNB continually emphasized the tight friendship they shared within the group, acknowledging that they all learned so much from each other through the survival show.
