A man with the last name Cho lost his life to an automated waste collection machine. 
On April 24 around 3 pm in Gyeonggi-do, Namyangju, the 38-year-old man got sucked into an automated waste collection machine and fell into the underground pipes.
After 2 hours of searching, the emergency crew found the man dead at a location of 100m from the machine.

Cho revealed to be a worker who was at the site to check on the machine after receiving reports of malfunction.
The automated waste collection machine sucks in waste like a vacuum and transfers it straight to a trash center through underground pipes.
