Kim Heung Kook's label stated on March 15, "There was no sexual assault, nor any sexual intercourse period, as the woman claimed. Rather, we have evidence to prove that she approached Kim Heung Kook with impure intentions."
The veteran's singer's side explained, "2 years ago, 'A' was introduced to Kim Heung Kook as a professor at an art school by an acquaintance as someone to aid each other in their careers, and they met for tea. Afterward, Kim Heung Kook appeared as a guest at a dinner show hosted by a fellow singer at a hotel in Seoul, and 'A' came up to him at a hotel room where an after party/gathering was taking place with other singers and affiliates also present. The gathering ran late and Kim Heung Kook fell asleep, and when he awoke, everyone else had left except for 'A', which caused Kim Heung Kook bewilderment. There was no chance that any sexual intercourse took place, due to Kim Heung Kook's intoxication."
Further, "'A' continued to ask Kim Heung Kook to maintain contact with her, saying that she had drawn him a portrait, etc; later on when Kim Heung Kook learned that she was not a professor but an insurance consultant, he avoided contact with her... 'A' then asked Kim Heung Kook to lend her 150,000,000 KRW (~ 140,000 USD) to use for a lawsuit she was involved in, which caused Kim Heung Kook to suspect that her approach was planned from the beginning. When Kim Heung Kook did not answer her calls, 'A' contacted Kim Heung Kook's friend 'B' to ask for money again in the form of an investment for a shop," Kim Heung Kook's side continued. The label revealed that they would be willing to reveal text messages exchanged between 'A' and Kim Heung Kook as evidence.
Finally, Kim Heung Kook's side apologized for causing a stir, and relayed Kim Heung Kook's wishes to not inflict any misunderstanding on his family members. Stay tuned for updates.
