On January 12, a representative of SL ENT told StarNews, "Sung Yuri has yet to receive her payment for the 2009 SBS drama 'Swallow the Sun.'"

The representative explained, "The amount has said to exceed 80 million KRW (75,117 USD).  As a result, we tried to take legal action numerous times, reaching out to the Association of the Korean Entertainment Management, but failed to resolve the issue." And also added, "This is the only drama that's pending payment."

Reports state that co-stars Ji Sung and So Yi Hyun also failed to receive payments of 15 million KRW (14,000 USD) and 24 million KRW (23,000 USD), respectively. 

'Swallow the Sun' ended in October 2009 and starred actors Sung Yuri, Ji Sung, Lee Wan, and actress So Yi Hyun.
