On January 2, G.O personally revealed his relationship with actress Choi Ye Seul, and it seems he wanted to open up even more as he wrote another letter to fans on MBLAQ's official fan cafe. G.O wrote as follows on January 4:
"I was able to hide what I was lacking due to our fans' endless love and my members, who made it so I wasn't scared of anything. However, that glory that I thought was forever didn't go long. Due to our agency's accounting issues and wrongful management practices, we separated with our two members (Lee Joon, Thunder). At first when I didn't know anything, I blamed others and resented them. As time went on, Seung Ho, Mir, and I realized the truth about our label's wrongful practices, but we still wanted to stick by the name MBLAQ. A lot of people criticized and pointed fingers at us. We asked our company to release a statement to press, so that we could clear up the misunderstanding. However, the label told us that the members ended their contracts with the caveat that we wouldn't because it was the company's fault. Back then, I went through a really rough time. It was a scar that was hard for me to handle as someone who was older, but didn't have any experience in the world besides standing on stage and singing. That pain controlled my body and mind for over 6 months, and I ended up cutting off contact with people. I couldn't even pick up calls from my family, and I lived like an idiot for a long time. People's opinions of us were harsh, and media only released irritating headlines. My confidence hit bottom, and I was apologetic to my fans. I started military service at a late age, and I ended up living a normal life. Looking back, I really lived a fiercely competitive life, and I was disappointed by my exhausted emotions. I thought about quitting my career as a singer, and I was scared I'd lose my fans, manager, and friends around me. I felt like I was breaking up every day. I told you about my plans at the fan meeting, and my life's goal is to live a happy married life with the person I love as someone who grew up in an average family."
