JTBC's 'Give Me a Meal' welcomed Zion.T to the December 6 show where he shared a touching backstory of how his hit track "Yanghwa BRDG" came to life.
Appearing on the air without his trademark sunglasses for the very first time, Zion.T described in a taxi ride, "I wrote this song when I was in a slump back in 2014. I've never really talked about my story so I wanted to share about my life through 'Yanghwa BRDG'." He added, "I was crying when I was writing this song while on the airplane. Tears automatically rolled down when I thought about my family."

"Yanghwa BRDG" is considered to be Zion.T's biggest hit. This also means the track brought him huge earnings. Zion.T commented, "I received a huge sum thanks to 'Yanghwa BRDG's success. I bought my mother a fancy car with that money."
