KBS has confirmed this year's annual 'KBS Entertainment Awards' has been canceled.
Last month, KBS stated the year-end ceremonies were up in the air, and on December 12, reps announced to media outlets, "We've decided not to host the '2017 KBS Entertainment Awards'. It won't be held this year." Due to the strike that's been ongoing since September 4, it seems the network has decided not to move forward with the awards ceremony.
However, the '2017 KBS Song Festival' and '2017 KBS Drama Awards' are expected to be held as planned on the 29th and 31st, respectively.
