U.Ji left YNB Entertainment as well as the idol group BESTie back in September along with Dahye. Months after leaving the group and the company, U.Ji has finally found a new agency, Curo Holdings Management, that is home to many talented actors such as Jung Woong In.

On December 15 (KST), Curo Holdings Management announced that the former BESTie member has signed with the company in order for her to start a new chapter in her life. They said, "We would like to thank U.Ji who made a careful decision at an important time to work with us. We will prepare footings continuing forward for U.Ji in order for her to fully enjoy music and stages. We would like to ask everyone to support and cheer her on in announcing a new start in her career."
