It's common for Koreans to wear Hanbok on Chuseok holiday, however, Dara is being criticized for resembling Uhwudong.
Uhwudong is a scandalous figure of the Joseon Dynasty in the 15th century. She's a dancer, writer, artist, and poet from a noble family, however, she's more well-known for her days as kisaeng (an artist who entertains men, also referred to as prostitute in the modern definition).
She's often perceived as a very sexual figure. In fact, films depicting the life of Uhwudong are often 19+.
With this in mind, netizens found Dara's styling inappropriate for the holiday. Comments stated, "Uhwudong is a figure who was the center of sex scandals after her divorce and becoming a kisaeng. Does it make sense to be Uhwudong on Chuseok?", "Did she have to do the Uhwudong concept... Just a regular Hanbok would've been pretty", "Sigh... please... think for once..", "Wow she looks like a kisaeng", "Chuseok and Uhwudong don't get along", "She's so airheaded."
