SHINee's Key revealed why he doesn't use his birth name to promote as an actor like many idol stars tend to do.
At the press conference for the upcoming MBC drama 'Bleak Night', Key shared, "At first, my agency asked me what I wanted to do about my name. Although a lot of people change their names, I thought I wanted to bring everything I've done as SHINee's Key with me."
He continued, "Everything I've worked on is as SHINee's Key, so I didn't think I had to change that. People who call me Kibum call me Kibum anyway. I didn't feel it meant a lot to change it, and I thought it would be better to use a name that many people know me by."
