Although Eli married his current wife 3 years ago by registering their marriage on June 5, 2014, they never held a wedding ceremony. He was also only able to propose to his wife recently, while visiting his family in Washington to discuss the wedding. Being one of the first idols to announce such surprising news, Eli and his racing model wife Ji Yeon Soo had to hide their marriage, only revealing it via SNS after their official registry. 

Eli and his family, including his 1 year old son Minsoo, have been appearing on KBS2's 'Mr. House Husband', where they first revealed plans to hold a wedding soon and gave away a sneak preview of their preparations. According to Eli's label NH EMG, the wedding ceremony will take place at The Riverside Hotel in Seoul's Seocho-gu on June 3, with the U-KISS members, as well as other label artists, attending as guests. 

Meanwhile, celebrity couple Lee Sang Woo and Kim So Yeon also recently announced that they would be holding a small, private wedding this June.
