Sweeping awards at the end-of-year award ceremonies last year, an EXO representative mentioned that they allowed the members to spend time with their families this season.  The agency stated, "EXO had a busy year with numerous performances and activities.  We would like to give this opportunity for the members to spend quality time with family and friends."

2016 was a special year for boy group BTS.  Winning countless awards, it seems this year looks to be a busy one as well preparing for their world tour to kick off in February.  The agency reported, "The boys will be taking a break during this Lunar New Year season."

Girl group TWICE is also in the spotlight, having to reschedule their music performances and variety shows due to their tight schedules.  The girls will be returning with a new album next month.  The agency said, "There isn't anything specifically planned, the girls will be personally taking time off to be with family."
