On the January 12 airing of 'Cultwo Show', Hyejoeng spoke up to clarify misunderstandings about the viral screenshots. She explained, "I wasn't picking my nose. I was just itching it. It was only for a second, but that was captured. I'm embarrassed. I didn't know it would go viral."
DJ Kim Tae Gyun attempted to cheer her up and jokingly said, "I've picked my nose before too, and it's still a hot issue."
