Actress Um Aeng Ran was diagnosed with 2nd stage breast cancer last year, and had to remove one breast because of the cancer. After during an interview, she had said, "I have no feeling under one arm. I feel sad, angry, and down after a part of my body was removed."
Many viewers were shocked that 'SNL Korea' could make fun of someone's illness and surgery as such, especially since the actress had revealed how the surgery had made her felt. The controversial skit comes only a week after 'SNL Korea's molestation controversy, and many believe that this skit, combined with last week's issue, is just further proof that the show is using comedy as an excuse to be vulgar, and that it needs to shut down.
