The drama stars Seo Kang Jun, Lee Kwang Soo, Lee Dong Hwi, Jo Jin Woong, Park Jung Min, and Sohee, and is a remake of the American hit series. The reporters, in a group Kakao chat room, discussed the strengths and flaws of the drama, including the storyline, details and comparisons to reality, acting, and more.
One flaw that the reporters pointed out was that "Even if it is a drama targeting males, tvN's core target audience is females. The way the drama was set up in itself was wrong", in response to another reporter who'd said, "The biggest problem was that they weren't able to catch gender sensitivity crossing boundaries at the beginning stages. There are no female viewers who can take 'those kinds of lines' lightly." To this, the reporter typing in yellow added, "I died at the part where they had two half-naked women standing behind Simon D. What Korean star goes around during the day with half-naked girls like that keke".
Next, they broached on the topic of Sohee's acting, with one reporting saying, "Sohee... this is no time for her to be greedy over lead roles. If you're just coming in, you need to test things out. If she's really thinking of growing into a good actress... She needs to start over from her phonation." Another agreed with, "Doesn't it seem like she doesn't realize what kind of tone she's using when she's talking...", while others opinionated that among the 4 friends in the drama, only Lee Dong Hwi seemed natural with his role.
As for the drama's strengths, the reports pointed out that it did not lack the necessary details when considering it's realistic portrayal of the entertainment industry. While "all of the places that entertainment people regularly visit are all there [in the drama]", "the problem is that only the insiders in the industry find that funny, not the audience". They agreed that lines exchanged between managers, topics dealing with dating scandals, and even a scene where the CEO gets kicked out of his own company, were all believable strengths of the drama.
