A thoughtless father who put his young child's life in danger was caught on camera. 

A recent post on an online community portal showed photos of a man driving with a child on his lap and smartphone in his hand. It seems like the father was playing a mobile game while driving. 

The photos were taken on Expressway No.1 in Seoul and the original poster noted that the cars on the road were going fast. The OP also pointed out that the father was not wearing a seat belt.

Netizens are outraged at the father saying, "I can't believe my eyes," "How careless," and "I feel sorry for that child." Some are defending the father saying, "There must be a reason why." Regardless if there is an explanation for doing this, the father broke numerous traffic laws. Korean traffic law fines drivers $30 USD for not wearing a seatbelt, a $60 USD fine for using a mobile device while driving, and a $40 USD fine for holding a child while driving.
