Singer Ga In talked about her fans' reaction to her lighter makeup for "Carnival" during the showcase on September 9.  

While discussing the MV for the song, she stated, "It's an MV that gives off a pure feeling by my standards," showing how she's shed her normal strong character for a more innocent one this time around.

"In most of my MVs, when I close my eyes, my makeup was thick enough so that it looked like another pair of eyes [were drawn on].  Still, this time, I wanted to try a different image from normal," she continued.  "When my makeup gets light, my fans get shocked.  What's more, they even show concern.  That's why I wondered whether I should do my makeup strong.  That's to the extent [lighter makeup] was a challenge for me."

MC Muzie asked the fans in the seats, "Do you hate Ga In's light makeup?" and the fans' reactions were lukewarm, so Ga In approached them in a friendly manner, joking, "Don't get shy because this will be out on broadcast; act like you always do."
