Several reports on July 30 belatedly revealed that a woman filed a sexual molestation charge against former Deux member and rapper Lee Hyun Do back in June.
The woman, referred to as A, claimed, "In September of 2013, I was watching a soccer match with Lee Hyun Do at his house when he tried to sit on top of me, touched my arm, and attempted to put his hands in my shirt."
Lee Hyun Do's agency has quickly stepped up to address the reports with an official statement, below:
"This is Lee Hyun Do's agency D.O Entertainment.
We would like to reveal our official stance regarding Lee Hyun Do's sexual molestation reports.
First, what the plaintiff claims is completely false. Lee Hyun Do has no idea what the plaintiff is referring to, only found out about the charges through media reports today, and has yet received any type of search.
We can only decipher the plaintiff's false charges as an act of malice, and will respond to false accusations strictly.
We will participate in all forthcoming investigations with honesty, and hope that the truth will be revealed clearly and resolutely throughout the investigation process. We trust that the truth will be out after thorough investigation.
Lastly, we ask that media outlets refrain from inflicting further damages by reporting unconfirmed content."
