The police gave a brief update on the DUI case against Kangin through an official statement on June 10.
According to the police, back on May 24, he drove with a blood alcohol level of 0.157%, considerably higher than the amount of 0.1% which would result in license revocation. On that night, he had driven his car into a streetlamp after which he fled the scene then turned himself into the police hours later.

The police revealed that they've taken into consideration all of the charges against Kangin, like the DUI charge and his inaction after the incident, and sent the prosecution their findings as well as a recommendation of indictment.
The case has now been forwarded to prosecution.
