Apparently actor Park Bo Gum's photo shoot for '@star1' has incited criticism from netizens because a recent post on an online community reads, 'Park Bo Gum's Shotaro Complex concept that is currently in controversy,' and added the picture in question - however, the writer had an additional point to make.
The 'Shotaro Complex' is just like the 'Lolita Complex' except for boys. His photo shoot is being accused of encouraging the complex as, in it, Park Bo Gum allegedly looks like a suggestive young boy.

The poster also makes an interesting claim: "IU had a controversy because she filmed with a similar concept. The attitudes toward a male celebrity and a female celebrity are completely different." The writer is suggesting that while IU's concept earned her a lot of negative criticism and hate, Park Bo Gum's situation is not being taken with as much malice, pointing out double standards.
Looking at the photo, netizens stated, "It's my first time seeing a man doing a pose like that. It seems like a concept that is suggestive of shota," "How is this a boyfriend [concept]? It's shota. What boyfriend wears a huge knit sweater like that and secretly takes his mom's lipstick to put it on himself and rubs it with his hands? I don't understand," "I think they were aiming [for shota] a bit," and more. What do you think?
