Although Kang Dong Won is quite the handsome fellow, his style appeared a bit high-school for me-- especially at a VIP red carpet film event. While the movie 'Violent Prosecutor' had a rough exterior and his fashion matches that theme, it doesn't garner much attention with the play-safe style of dark denim jeans and white sneakers. The tuxedo undershirt is better left on the rack than on this handsome man.
The jacket really showcases some funky patterns so his stylist, or he himself, could have livened it up with more print on his sneakers or possible embellishments like studs on his pants. It would carry over the jackets design much more instead of becoming a fashion crutch simply draped over his clothing.
Now Shin Min Ah definitely paired elegance with spunk as the jacket comes off as strong and dominating just like her facial expressions for her 'Cosmopolitan' photo shoot. Although I would have liked the dress to be different, the classic combo of leather/denim jackets over dresses is a sucker punch for any fashion guru! The black lace of her dress paired with her black buckle choker and boots pair nicely with this jackets rough exterior.
Although she also didn't make use of the quirky accented designs of this pricey piece, she cleans up nicely and it helps the jacket stand out among the rest of her fashion pieces. The photo shoot captures her beauty and alongside the jackets, making Shin Min Ah the winner for this round of 'Who Wore It Better'!
