Just as TWICE Tzuyu's controversy surrounding her nationality appeared to be on the verge of subsiding, the issue came to light once again with a cyber attack on JYP's official homepage which occurred after the label uploaded Tzuyu's apology video.
In a phone call with Yonhap Sunday, JYP reportedly stated, "Since before Tzuyu's apology, our homepage has been sporadically down so we [had to keep] restoring it. On the afternoon of the 16th, we were on the receiving end of a DDoS attack from unspecified and random IPs that streamed in all at once, severing access to our website. We're in a situation where it's technically impossible to know where the attack is from. Currently, we're in the process of restoring our homepage, and it'll take some time."
JYP's homepage was said to have been inaccessible when last checked on 3:50pm KST, Sunday.

Though it isn't 100% certain who initiated this DDoS attack, some people are speculating that anonymous hackers from Taiwan attacked JYP's homepage as a way to protest and epxress their dissent on the recent apology video.
