Visit Korea Committee has officially opened the website for�'K-Travel Bus,' a�free bus travel package for an overnight trip between Seoul and local provinces for foreigners who wish to see the beautiful land of South Korea in its entirety.

K-Travel Bus provides convenience of moving between local provinces for the foreign tourists,�usually concentrated in Seoul, while offering an overnight trip for outstanding tourism course�and experience contents of local areas with a free bus travel package.

The program is developed�and promoted together by the committee, Gangwondo, Chungcheong Tourism Promotion�Council (Daejeon Metropolitan City, Sejong City, Chungcheongbukdo, Chungcheongnamdo),�Jeollanamdo, and Gyeongsangbukdo.

Meanwhile, Gangwondo only participates in the form of�festival shuttles between Seoul and Gangwondo during the test operation period this year. It will�turn into the form of an overnight trip from 2016 to activate local tourism of Gangwondo with�Pyeongchang Winter Olympics as a momentum.

The organizing committee particularly is planning to invite staffs and executives from Youku, the�Chinese youtube, for promotion during the test operation period. In addition, the committee will�work on advertisements and promotion through Hsinhua, People.cn, Weibo, and google, while�proceeding Fam Tour (Familiarization Tour) to develop and promote products with related�organizations and national airlines.

K-Travel Bus is the business to diversify local tourist goods, expand base for the inbound market for visiting Korea, and activate local tourism, along with '2016-2018 Year of Visiting Korea.' After�the test operation this year, the operating areas will be extended to the national range from�March 2016.

The price of this package is $170~180, and the package, exclusive for foreigners�only, will include the entire fee for foreign language guide, accommodation, and experiential�events.

In celebration of the�launching of K-Travel Bus, an open event of the official website is ongoing from Dec. 1 to 18. This�event will provide an opportunity to experience K-Travel Bus for the participating foreigners.
