You're getting quite the star-studded cast for upcoming 2-part SBS drama, 'Mysterious Freshman'!  Already, they had cast Nam Ji Hyun and Yeon Jun Suk as the leads. Joining them is 5urprise's handsome Gong Myung.

His character is Lee Min Sung, who is the friend of Jung Woo Hyun (Yeon Jun Suk) and the son of a wealthy home, and goes into a state of unconsciousness following an MTB (motor torpedo boat) accident.

The first filming began recently.  Gong Myung said, "I am very excited and grateful that I get to appear in a good production.  Because it's a character who gives off yet another different feeling from the characters I have acted up to now, I think I'd be able to show a new image, which makes me happy.  I will work hard to film with diligence."

His group mate, Seo Kang Jun, showed his support with a cute Instagram tweet, that also asked him to "look after Kang Seo Wool," who was his love interest in a past drama played by Nam Ji Hyun.  Cute, eh?  Passing the torch onto his group mate.
