The Nation's MC Yoo Jae Suk's legal strife with his past agency appears as if it won't draw to a close any time soon.
On November 9, Yoo Jae Suk's current agency FNC Entertainment stated, "This past 3rd Yoo Jae Suk submitted a petition of appeals regarding his unearned accrued income."
Back in 2005, Yoo Jae Suk entered into an exclusive contract with Stom E&F and made around 600 million KRW (~$517,000) by appearing on various TV programs. However, in May of 2010, due to the provisional seizure of Stom E&F's assets amounting to 8 billion KRW (~$6.89 billion USD), Yoo Jae Suk failed to receive his due profits.

Subsequent the label's predicament, Yoo Jae Suk terminated his contract with Stom E&F in October of 2010 and filed a damages claim to each of the broadcasting companies that he made an appearance for. The companies, in turn, chose to hand the case over to the courts.
The courts had ruled, "The profits earned through activities as a celebrity are principally calculated after the label first receives them," refusing to acknowledge Yoo Jae Suk's claim by citing the conditions of his exclusive contract.
