Oh, Black Nut, you never fail to amuse us. The rapper has never shied from vitriol in his lyrics, which sure is admirable but is not so good for his 'rep.'
Black Nut featured on fellow underground rapper Superbee's track "Shark in Cold Water", which dropped on October 26. Both of them speak not-so-kindly of their experiences with 'Show Me the Money 4' ('SMTM 4'), openly criticizing the show's producers. A part of Superbee's lyrics went, "I curse them to perpetual car accidents for unfairly dropping me," in reference to team Tablo and Jinusean's 'SMTM 4' track "Oppa's Car".
Black Nut, who added his two cents with equally truculent lyrics, directly targeted Tablo and his wife Kang Hye Jung. His lyrics went something along the lines of, "Like Swings said, Korean hip hop is just politics. I refuse to lick your a**hole. Just like the woman next to you, you're just an 'Oldboy' (implying that Kang Hye Jung's heyday passed with the film 'Oldboy'). Don't roll your head; you're not a b-boy."
While some people have deemed it was crass for Black Nut to release a diss track on the 6th anniversary of Tablo and Kang Hye Jung's marriage, others simply credited it to the nature of the hip hop scene.
