ILY 'Running Man': Why we should all ship the 'Monday Couple'

1. Have you heard of the 'Monday Couple'?
Once upon a time there was a South Korean variety show called 'Running Man'. It became an adventure with many plots and twists as Lee Kwang Soo proved how he was pretty hot, and Kim Jong Kook proved he has more aegyo than us.

Now, there's no real adventure without some romance right? Naturally, the 'Monday Couple' was born between member Gary and Song Ji Hyo. Let me just say, many ships have sailed regarding this precious couple, and there's no reason to stop.
2. Gary & Song Ji Hyo
The 'Monday Couple' has been delighting fans for about 5 years now. For those who are not familiar with the show, this pair is made up of Gary, who is the rapper of Leessang, and Song Ji Hyo, who is a beloved female actress. The title was created from the show's filming schedule - referring that Gary and Song Ji Hyo are only a couple on the Monday that they film.

When on opposite teams, Gary can't do much with Song Ji Hyo's tactics. In this particular episode, she gave him sad puppy eyes and pleaded him to let her go by grabbing onto his leg.

Gary asked Song Ji Hyo if she was jealous that he was paired with a female guest, and she said yes. Then when he asked if her guest partner was good looking, she answered yes. Gary then pouts and said, "How can you say that so quickly?!"
14. Gary seems to get a bit more jealous?
He said, "If I could change my partner, I want to be with Song Ji Hyo."

Their relationship reenacts the stages of an actual relationship. There was the initial chase, the stage when they were both blissfully dating, difficult times of arguments, a moment when there was a halt in their relationship (Song Ji Hyo was dating in the "real world"), and finally their reconciliation where they are currently back together (it was reported Song Ji Hyo was not in her "real" relationship anymore).
