Actor Kim Min Jae, who raised interest through his 'Show Me the Money 4' appearance and striking resemblance to both Song Joong Ki and Yeo Jin Goo, posed for 'Grazia' magazine, which dropped a shot the other day.
In the interview, he talked about how he was getting known as the doppelgangers to Song Joong Ki and Yeo Jin Goo, modestly stating, "They're truly amazing seniors to me. If people saw the two of them in person, probably no one could say [that I look like them]," and laughed. He added, "Honestly, I don't think I am handsome."
He was revealed to be from the first generation of trainees from CJ E&M. He had been preparing for his debut as an idol singer when he was cast in Mnet drama 'Perseverance Goo Hae Ra,' first stepping into entertainment as an actor. However, he then left a deep impression with his rapping skills on 'Show Me the Money 4.'
He stated, "The number of Instagram followers also went up a lot. It made me truly feel the immense influence of 'Show Me the Money.' I felt like it was such a shame when I failed to pass the second round of auditions. At the time, I was filming for my 'Producer' cameo appearance. Whether it's on set or somewhere else, I always practiced while carrying a mic around. I think I practiced just that for almost a whole month. However, rather than regret something that has passed, I want to diligently do the work that I pick up in the future, whether it's in acting or singing."
Check him out in the second August issue of 'Grazia'!
