Hyungsik talked about leaving the dorm to live by himself during an interview recently with Sports Chosun.
He said, "There are times I miss the dorm life. At daybreak, we would order and eat chicken and drink beer, and then the next day, we will see one another's swollen faces and point at one another, all of which are fun memories that make me miss [dorm life]. Honestly, our members are kind. There was positive energy, so it was fun even when we were alone together. I think that is how we got to endure things well up to this point."

He went into detail about why he wrapped up his dorm life, "There would be times I came in at dawn from doing a drama. I needed to leave again two hours later, but I had to memorize my lines during that time. There were always two people sleeping in on one room, but if I were to read my lines, I'd have to turn on the light, and then my [roommate] would wake up. But then my [roommate] would tell me to read my script, then he'll sleep and wake up, then go out to the living room to sleep and the like, so I felt both very sorry and thankful. I thought it would be nice if I had my personal space and that it would be necessary for me to have a space to practice my lines, so I got a one-room."
