On July 30, JTBC uploaded stills from the script reading, for which Kim Young Kwang, Jung So Min, Ha Suk Jin, and others were in attendance. Though it was the first script reading, everything was said to have progressed smoothly with good feelings among the actors.
Kim Young Kwang said, "When I first received the script, I read it without any respite. I felt like I was drawn in even deeper with every episode and got ambitious about wanting to continue [with this character]. I think I was particularly drawn to Lee Hae Sung's character who possesses affection for humankind. Because it's a character that's different [from my previous characters] I'm ever more dedicated to studying my role. I will try my best to show my good side," resolute in his determination.
Co-star Jung So Min said, "It's an honor to be working with such great actors and staff. I'm personally learning a lot from studying my role. I will try my utmost best for this project."
Ha Suk Jin added, "I'm already excited because there are many people here around my age. I will definitely have fun filming with all my fellow actors."
