Fair Trade Commission starts investigation into whether there was unfair practice by SM Entertainment based on Noh Min Woo's claims

TRAX, Noh Min Woo

The legal troubles for SM Entertainment continue.  Previously, actor and former TRAX member, Noh Min Woo, claimed he had once been a victim of the slave contract under SM Entertainment and subsequent blacklisting from promotions after leaving the agency.

Now, the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) has begun its investigation into the suspicion of unfair corporate practices submitted by Noh Min Woo against SM Entertainment.  The FTC revealed on June 29 that Noh Min Woo recently appeared at the FTC to testify against SM regarding their dispute and to lay out his opinions on the situation. Afterwards, a rep from SM gave the other side's stance.

Noh Min Woo's legal reps once again asserted, "Before Noh Min Woo debuted, SM formed a 17-year exclusive contract after a one-sided decision for extension. Even after leaving SM afterwards, he started independent promotions, but all broadcasting companies blocked Noh Min Woo's appearances."

Stay tuned for updates.
