Talented figure skater, Kim Yuna, showed her generosity by recently donating $100,000 USD for UNICEF Korean National Commission for the children in Nepal following the devastating earthquake.
UNICEF Korean National Commission stated on April 28, "We plan to use Kim Yuna's donation for the hurt children's nutrition, clean drinking water, health, and relief work." The previous day, the organization had stated their desire to help out the children in Nepal and asked for help.

This is not the first time Kim Yuna had shown her charitable side as she had previously donated to Haiti in 2010, Japan in 2011, and to the victims of the Sewol Ferry incident last year.
