According to a recent coverage by YTN News, a teen idol member was recently sued for raping a woman five years older in her 20's.
YTN News stated that idol star A first met B on November 26 at a gathering with acquaintances and two days after, they met again at her house where A raped her. B went on to claim that A attempted to rape her again after coming to her house to ask for forgiveness six days later.
B revealed that she even received a text message from A's father who threatened her to settle the situation or he would turn her into the police for defamation.
When the news broke, A's agency went on to refute the allegations and claimed that the story was one-sided and groundless. A representative of the agency told YTN News, "We are under false accusation. She's saying that she was raped when it didn't happen."
The police revealed that B finished giving her statement on the case and they will soon summon A and question him in regards to the claims made against him.
Although the name of the idol member was not revealed, a blurred footage of the group was shown on the report that resembled the footage that rookie idol group ZEST recently released in celebration of Independence Movement Day on March 1.
