With the announcement by KBS 2TV of a new variety program entitled 'Lady Action,' speculations arose about whether the broadcasting company was trying to create an MBC 'Real Men - Female Edition' of their own following the success of the existing program.  'Lady Action' follows female actresses as they learn action and is set for a mid-May premiere.  Casting is still under way.

In the meantime, Producer Go Se Jun stepped up to address the suspicions about a 'Real Men - Female Edition' rip-off by stating to OSEN on March 24, "We were not copying 'Real Men's female edition.  The variety program using the concept of action stars was an item we thought about starting a year ago.  Aren't 'Unpretty Rapstar' and strong women the hot topic nowadays?  Because strong women are the hot thing these days, we decided to cast women as the participants."
